Call for Presentation Proposals will open November 13 and Close on January 8. Proposals will be reviewed the week of January 15 and a confirmation will be sent to presenter by January 26.

Partnership Award |
Innovative Partnership Award This award will recognize virtual school programs that have partnered with another entity to push the boundaries of current practices and perceptions in virtual learning. The work of the partnership should be creative, student centered, with a goal to increase student achievement (directly or indirectly) and the project will serve as a model for other virtual programs. Nominate – TBA 2024 Winner– TBA |
Instructor Awards |
Best Practice Award (Instructional) This award will recognize the accomplishments of one virtual school teacher in the state (nominees are not required to be from the same school). Nominees must be active participants in school, district and statewide initiatives. They form and foster strong relationships with parents, students and peers that contribute to the success of students. teachers will take an active role in instructional leadership within their school, supporting teacher growth and student achievement. Nominate – TBA 2024 Winner– TBA |
Leadership Award (Instructional) This award will recognize the accomplishments of one virtual school teacher in the state (nominees are not required to be from the same school). Nominees should demonstrate a pattern of leadership within their schools and beyond. Their efforts must have contributed significantly to the success of their students, colleagues or staff. A history of collaboration among peers within the district and state should also be evident. The efforts of the nominee should contribute to the advancement of their school and virtual learning. Nominate – TBA 2024 Winner– TBA |
Survivor Award (Instructor) This award will recognize the accomplishments of one new virtual school teacher in the state (nominees are not required to be from the same school). Nominees will be within their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of experience in a virtual school program. This award will recognize those survivors who have embraced the concept of online learning and have faced the challenges of online teaching with enthusiasm and determination. Nominees have demonstrated that they are student-centered, innovative and driven to succeed. They thrive in the virtual school environment and serve as a model for their peers.
